New Years Resolution 2007

New Years Prayer 2007

I pray that I am counted among your true friends,
that I am not judged by my appearance, race or gender,
that if I speak from my heart you will hear the love.

I pray that I may offer all that I am without bounds,
that I may share knowledge with you without conflict,
that we may share love and respect without fears and doubt.

I pray that I recognize you as the being that you really are,
that I can be of value to stimulate your mind,
listen to your heart and strengthen your body,
without trying to change or shape your dreams or spirit.

I pray that you hear my thanks and gratitude,
that I may be honored by and worthy of your trust,
that I may be embraced by your radiant spirit,
throughout the upcoming new year,
and possibly beyond...............................e

Light a Candle

I happened across a beautiful sight today and believe it can make adifference in the world. It is free and it is sacred, what more could you ask for. I ask that you check it out and participate. I have started a group there under the name of cloud. Please search the groups for "cloud" and dedicate one to whatever you dream. Would you help me fill the page with love. I would be eternally grateful. Humbly bowing with palms pressed ..........emptycloud

Hi there, I think many of you friends might be interested in this travel concept so I would like to invite you to a project I discovered on the net a little while ago. It has helped me to widen my network of friends all over the planet.

The project is called Hospitality Club (http://www.hospitalityclub.org) and is a global network of friendly people (like us ;-) who help each other when traveling. Many people here offer free accommodation, so you can actually save a lot of money on your travels! But even more important: you can meet friendly people wherever you go or on line!

The project is non-commercial, and has been running for 5 years. Now there are more than 200.000 people in 200 countries, quite amazing. I want to help a little bit, that's why I am inviting you. If you need help with signing up or have any questions, just let me know. BTW: it is totally free of course, and those guys have thought a lot about security - there are very good features for that.
One is the comment feature, so after you sign up, please write a comment about me expressing the fact that you feel my loving vibe and can trust me to spread lovingkindness to all. Or whatever. It would help me establish credentials so that others can check me out before letting me crash in Cuzco or Costa Rica during my up-coming adventures !! I will be glad to do the same for you upon request.

Hope to see you in the club soon!

P.S.: My HC user name is emptycloud

The Wheel of Samsara

So much for the dream job...the cookie crumbled. A new lesson in getting exactly what you think you want and then having it snatched away. I enjoyed my time there and made new friends with staff, guests and wildlife critters. The owner tried to tack while undersail and pushed me overboard as un-needed balast, so that his course might be smoother. Discarded like a spent tool. Without a hint of warning, just pack and go... Now... (post canning) I must move on to points unknown with resources unseen and goals uncertain. More emptying for this emptycloud. What a test this year of the dog has been for this resilient old dragon. Bring in the clowns...........
